PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment capable of reducing the power consumption while reducing user's troublesomeness. SOLUTION: The radio communication equipment 11 in one embodiment of this invention, includes: a radio communication means which connects communication links to other wireless communication devices 12 and 13 to make radio communication; a presence/absence judgement means for judging the presence or the absence of other radio communication equipment 12 capable of radio communication when the radio communication means doesn't connect communication links to the other radio communication equipment 12 and 13; and a power supply control means which performs such control as to turn off a power source in the case that the absence is judged by the presence/absence judgement means, and not to turn off the power source in the case that the presence is judged.
