<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet emulation apparatus which is capable of increasing and decreasing lines while transmitting/receiving a packet signal generated by packet emulation of a TDM (time division multiplex) signal and further while converting a received packet signal into a TDM (time division multiplex) signal and transmitting the TDM signal. <P>SOLUTION: A packet emulation apparatus of the present invention includes a packet transmitting device which adds configuration information of a line in a next polling period to a packet signal as header information and a packet receiving device which updates configuration information of a line on the basis of the configuration information at a switching time point of the polling period, and the packet signal is transmitted/received between the packet transmitting device and the packet receiving device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
