<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensing apparatus and an automatic ticket gate for preventing an erroneous detection by using a refractor. <P>SOLUTION: The sensing apparatus for sensing an object to be sensed is provided with: a reflection sensor having a light irradiating section for irradiating a light, and a light receiving section for receiving a reflection light irradiated from the light irradiating section and reflected by the object to be sensed; the refractor for refracting the light irradiated from the light irradiating section toward the object to be sensed; and a light shielding element for shielding the light directed toward an end of the refractor among the light irradiated from the light irradiating section to the refractor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
