PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder, along with a fluorescent lamp that uses the binder, capable of improving the degradation of phosphor under baking. SOLUTION: If zinc phosphate with an average particle size of 0.5-10.0μm is used as a binder for a fluorescent lamp, since binding force will not be degraded, even if the baking temperature is lowered, when manufacturing the fluorescent lamp, the baking temperature can be lowered; and thereby, degradation of phosphor under baking can be improved. The fluorescent lamp that uses the binder has a strong binding force between the phosphor and a glass tube and ensures a superior light flux for a lamp. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
