摘要 <p>Provided is a fundus photographing device comprising alignment index photographing means having alignment light sources arranged symmetrically across a photographing optical axis for projecting a pair of alignment indexes to a subject eye to be examined, and front eye photographing means for photographing the front eye portion of the subject eye, the alignment index of which has been photographed by the alignment index photographing means. Further comprised are pupil center detecting means for determining the pupil center of the subject eye by an image-treatment from the front eye images photographed by the front eye photographing means, and alignment index detecting means for determining the intermediate position of and the spacing between the paired alignment indexes taken by the front eye photographing means. Still further comprised are alignment information acquiring means for acquiring the alignment information in the vertical and transverse directions of the device with respect to the subject eye from the pupil center detected and the intermediate position of the paired alignment indexes, thereby to acquire the alignment information in the longitudinal direction between the subject eye and the device from the spacing between the alignment indexes, and positioning means for positioning the device on the basis of the alignment information acquired by the alignment information acquiring means.</p>
