[PROBLEMS] To provide a seat belt in which when an occupant sits on a seat, the occupant can easily fasten a seat belt without twisting his body. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] When the opening state of a door is detected by a door sensor (60), a motor is driven to wind up a seat belt (2) for moving a belt guide (4) against the biasing force of a spring (9) until the seat belt (2) is retreated from a seat back (1a) to the rear side of a vehicle. When the closing state of the door and the sitting of the occupant are detected by the door sensor (60) and a seat sensor (61), the motor is reversely driven to put a clutch mechanism (34) in a non-engaged state for projecting the seat belt (2) forward of the vehicle by the biasing force of the spring (9).
