<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vanishing point detection system, a vanishing point detection method and a program for vanishing point detection for robustly detecting a vanishing point even from an image containing noises. <P>SOLUTION: This vanishing point detecting system includes: a straight line detecting means 120; a vanishing point detection means 130; and a vanishing point output means 140.
