PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water retentive hardened body capable of exhibiting even water permeability while having water retentivity. SOLUTION: This cement composition for the water retentive hardened body constitutes the water retentive hardened body by being filled in a void of open-graded asphalt or porous concrete. The cement composition for the water retentive hardened body is characterized by including metallic powder capable of generating gas by reaction of cement, a water retentive material and alkali hydroxide.
