PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for controlling thickening and gelation during high-temperature preservation in a skin external preparation comprising (1) 5-30 mass% of powder having the surface that may be lipophilized, (2) 0.05-5 mass% of an acyl lactic acid and/or its salt, (3) 0.1-10 mass% of an acylated polyglycerin and (4) 0.01-1 mass% of a sulfate-based anionic surfactant. SOLUTION: The skin external preparation comprises further a sulfonic acid-based ultraviolet light absorber besides the components.
