摘要 A flexible circuit board for an LCD having a light absorbing layer is provided to prevent light, generated from a light source, from being transmitted to a conductive pattern and a passive device and form one area including a light out side for transmitting the light to be different from an area of a light absorbing layer of an area opposite to the light out unit for transmitting no light, thereby improving light absorbing efficiency. Plural conductive patterns(120) are formed on a first insulating film. A second insulating film(130) is formed on the first insulating film and covers the plural conductive patterns. At least one light source(140) is electrically connected to a conductive pad included in the conductive pattern. First and second light absorbing layers(161,162) are formed on the surface of the second insulating film of the outer circumference of the light source, and have different areas. The first light absorbing layer is formed in one side of the second insulating film including a light out unit for transmitting light of the light source. The second light absorbing layer is formed in the other side of the second insulating film formed in a direction opposite to the light out unit. A passive device(150) is electrically connected to the conductive pattern. In the conductive pattern, a conductive pad is formed. A flexible circuit board is divided into first to third areas(170,180,190).
