<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging method for quasi three-dimensionally reproducing an anatomical structure capable of being reproduced and a structure incapable of being reproduced by a first imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: A series of two-dimensional X-ray images is formed and stored in the first imaging device, and an object to be examined is projected onto an X-ray image pickup device from different perspectives. This method enables the formation of a three-dimensional image of the same object to be examined in a second imaging device, acquires a relevant structure of the object to be examined from the three-dimensional images, calculates synthetic two-dimensional projection images of the structure projected using the same geometrical parameters as used for the actual structure during the formation of the individual X-ray images, forms superposition images by superposing the synthetic projection images and the X-ray images formed under the same geometrical conditions, and displays the series of superposition images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
