PROCESS FOR THE MOULDING OF MULTILAYERED FIBRE-REINFORCED POLYMER ARTICLES AND ARTICLES SO OBTAINED

A process for the moulding of fibre-reinforced polymer articles (1) comprising the stages of laying at least one layer (4) of a first type of fibres impregnated with a first non-cross-linked or incompletely polymerised thermosetting polymer on a former (3) having the general shape of the article to be manufactured and of effecting cross-linking or polymerisation of the first thermosetting polymer in order to harden that layer. The former is obtained by resin transfer moulding and the layer is bonded to the former during polymerisation or cross-linking of the first polymer in such a way as to obtain an article comprising the former covered by the layer.
