<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving apparatus for performing highly accurate frequency synchronization and efficient communication. <P>SOLUTION: A rough adjusting circuit 16 detects a frequency difference between a receiving clock of the receiving apparatus and a transmission clock included in communication data based on one specific code pattern and another specific code pattern which is positioned later.
