<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle driving device for improving durability of a first motor or pinion gear by suppressing excessive rotation of the first motor or the pinion gear configuring a differential mechanism regardless of the shift of a transmission part. <P>SOLUTION: The upper limit of speed range of an engine 8 is restricted according to the gear ratio γ of an automatic transmission part 20 so that a first motor speed N<SB>M1</SB>can be prevented from entering an over-rotation region by an engine rotation restricting means 86. Thus, the over-rotation of the first motor M1 can be suppressed, and the durability of the first motor M1 can be improved regardless of the shift of the automatic transmission part 20. For example, the automatic transmission part 20 is shifted without following a gear shift map shown in Fig.8 (and not shown here), and the upper limit of speed range of the engine 8 is restricted in failure when a fail gear stage is formed as the actual gear stage. Thus, while the over-rotation of the first motor M1 can be suppressed, the traveling of the vehicle in failure can be maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
