PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid probe for classification by pathogenic bacterial species collectively detecting bacteria of the same species irrespective of the bacterial strains and detecting the bacteria of the bacteria species by differentiating the bacteria from bacteria of other bacterial species. SOLUTION: Any of base sequences composed of a plurality of specific sequences or a combination of two or more thereof is used as a probe for detecting a gene of an infectious disease pathogenic bacterium.
