A seat height adjusting apparatus for a vehicle is provided to reduce rotation transmitted by an electric gear of a knob by making reduction gear integrating a large diameter gear with a small diameter gear. A seat height adjusting apparatus for a vehicle comprises a lever, a reduction gear(20), a rotating cam member(30), a first link(40), a second link(50), a fixed shaft(60), and a third link(70). The lever is provided with an electric gear is installed at the outer middle part of a seat support, wherein the electric gear rotates to transmit power. The reduction gear is provided with a large diameter gear(21) and a small diameter gear(22). The large diameter gear is engaged with the electric gear. The small diameter gear is integrated with the large diameter gear. The rotating cam member is provided with a toothed part(31) meshed with the small diameter gear, and hinged at an upper track(2). The first link, which is on a hinge of the rotating cam member, moves along the rotating direction of the rotating cam member. The second link is on a hinge of a first link and on a hinge of the upper track located under the first link. The fixed shaft passes through the middle part of the second link, and rotates the seat support as the second link rotates. The third link is hinged at the front part of the upper track and the front part of the seat support to support the rear part of the seat support. |
