Switching device for a heating device

The device i.e. rod controller (11), has a switching spring that is connected to right ends of a flexible spring base (27) and supported to the spring base. The spring and base run in a same direction with a flat angle. The base is fastened to an end of the device turned away from a connection area. A thermo-mechanical temperature detecting device that includes a sensor (14) engages with a relative movement in proximity to the connection area between the spring and the base for execution of the switching movement.
