A power auto driving method of digital television is provided to withdraw the received EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information, to select broadcasting program names in the EPG information in order to turn on power automatically by checking when the received digital broadcasting signal and a pre-set broadcasting program are conformed and to display the pre-set program. EPG information is withdrawn among received digital broadcasting signals(S10). A user pre-sets a predetermined broadcasting program through the EPG information(S20). The received broadcasting signal and the predetermined broadcasting program pre-set by a user are compared(S30-S40). When the compared result is conformed, the power of the digital television is turned on and the predetermined broadcasting program is displayed(S50).
