LIGHT EMITTING DIODE BLOCK AND BACKLIGHT UNIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

A light emitting diode block assembly and a back light unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) by using the same are provided to design a connection pad for connecting with plural light emitting diode blocks in order not to cover the light beam emitted from a light emitting diode. A light emission diode block includes a light emitting diode(160) mounted on a substrate(100). A connection member(150) is formed at least a side of the substrate. When connecting plural light emission diode blocks, a connection pad connects adjacent connection members with each other. The connection pad includes a base plate. A connection member is protruded from a side of the base plate. An electrode connection member is mounted on a side of the base plate. The connection member includes a hook. The connection member includes an electrode member connected electrically with the light emission diode. The electrode members of adjacent light emission diode blocks are connected with each other by the electrode connection member. The electrode connection member includes a leaf spring.
