A composition for solidifying solid fossil fuels is provided to manufacture a solidification agent for the solid fossil fuels such as coke and the like by containing straight asphalt as a principal raw material and solidifying all solid fossil fuels containing coal as a raw material. A composition for solidifying solid fossil fuels comprises 34 to 52 wt.% of straight asphalt, 0.1 to 0.3 wt.% of an asphalt emulsifier, 0.2 to 0.4 wt.% of hydrochloric acid, 0.03 to 0.05 wt.% of calcium chloride, and the balance of water. The solid fossil fuels are coals, or fuels containing the coals as principal components. The solid fossil fuels are coke breeze, soft coal, anthracite, or mixtures of two or more thereof. |
