<p>A bearing assembly comprising a first bearing part, a second bearing part and a third bearing part extending between the first and second parts is provided in between the opposing sides of the hinge bushes (4). The assembly also comprises an outer sleeve (15) which extends around the three bearing parts once the hinge has been mounted, so that this assembly has a cylindrical shape. Two hinge plates (2, 3) are pivotally connected via a hinge pin (5) extending through hinge bushes associated with each plate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Hinge with two plates pivotally connected via a hinge pin extending through hinge bushes associated with each plate, at least one cylindrical bearing assembly being provided between the opposing sides of the bushes and comprising a first plastic bearing portion releasably attached to a second plastic bearing portion via a click-fit connection or pin coupling; (2) First cylindrical bearing assembly comprising a first plastic bearing part, a second bearing part and a third bearing part extending between the first and second parts, the third part including metal (alloy) glide surfaces in contact with plastic glide surfaces on the other two parts; (3) Second cylindrical bearing assembly comprising a first plastic bearing part, a second bearing part and a third bearing part extending between the first and second parts, the third part including glide surfaces in contact with glide surfaces on the other two parts, the first and second parts being releasably attached to each other via a click-fit connection; and (4) Third cylindrical bearing assembly comprising a first plastic bearing part, a second bearing part and a third bearing part extending between the first and second parts, the third part including glide surfaces in contact with glide surfaces on the other two parts, the first part having a vertical cylinder wall and the second and third parts being mounted around this wall.</p> |
