METHOD OF COLOR CORRECTION IN A DIGITAL CAMERA SYSTEM A camera system (1) is disclosed including: an image sensor device (51) for sensing an Image; a processing means for processing ; the sensed image; and a printing system for printing out the sensed image; a method of color correcting a sensed image to be printed out by the print head (102), comprising utilizing the image sensor device (51) to sense a first image processing the first image to determine color characteristics of a first sensed image; utilizing the image sensor device (51) to sense a second image, in rapid succession to the first image-applyingy color correction methods to the second image based on the determined color characteristics of the first sensed image; and printing out the second image. Preferably, the second sensed image is sensed within 1 second of the first sensed image and the processing step includes examining the intensity haracteristics of the first image. The processing step can include determining a maximum and minimum intensity of the first image and utilizing the intensities to rescale the intensities of the second image.
