FIELD: medicine; medical equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: prosthesis joint contains stationary shell, central axis, mobile shell and fixation device with a pusher. The fixation device is a single-row friction ball-type clutch with an external star gear linked to the stationary shell by an arm. The star gear can jam balls in both directions. The cage is located inside the clutch and is connected to the mobile shell by an arm.
