POLARIZING PLATE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

A polarization plate, and a method for preparing the polarization plate are provided to improve the adhesion between a polarizer and a protection layer and to obtain a very thin plate. A polarization plate comprises a polarizer made of a poly(vinyl alcohol)-based resin; an undercoat layer which is laminated on the one or both surfaces of the polarizer; and a cured layer of an ionization radiation resin which is formed on the undercoat layer, wherein the undercoat layer comprises poly(vinyl alcohol)-based resin and a water-soluble epoxy compound. Preferably the water-soluble epoxy compound is a polyamide epoxy resin.
