SOLUTION: The automatic adjustment devices 1 and 5 for the control parameter are respectively provided with processing parts 2 and 6 for optimizing control parameters P1 to Pn by using the genetic algorithm, and for outputting optimal values P1suit to Pnsuit of the control parameters, the processing parts 2 and 6 are respectively provided with: compatibility calculation means 22 and 62 for calculating compatibility Qk of individuals Ik including the control parameters P1 to Pn as genes; master selection means 24 and 64 for selecting part of individuals Ik as master individuals Ia, Ib and Ic from among an individual group configured of the plurality of individuals Ik; and generation change means 25 and 65 for generating slave individuals Ik* by a genetic operation from the selected master individuals Ia, Ib and Ic, wherein the control parameters included in the individuals Ik having the most satisfactory compatibility Qk are defined as the optimal values P1suit to Pnsuit.
