<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storage device capable of suppressing noise in a car compartment. <P>SOLUTION: An electricity storage device to be arranged in a car compartment comprises a battery pack for storing electricity, and an air intake duct 23a for cooling the battery pack. The air intake duct 23a is so formed as to extend along the front-back direction of the car body. The air intake duct 23a is formed at the end of the car body in the front-back direction and has an air inlet 23b arranged in the car compartment.
