PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield case which can be reliably soldered to a circuit board without increasing a manufacturing cost, and to provide an electromagnetic shielding structure which electromagnetically shields an electronic component mounted on the circuit board using the shield case. SOLUTION: An electronic component on a circuit board 1 is surrounded by a shield case 10 of a box shape having four surrounding side walls 11 to 14. The two opposing side walls 11 and 13 of the shield case 10 are formed with legs 15, 16 and 17, 18 at the both end edges of one sides respectively. The circuit board 1 is formed therein with four through holes 2 to 5 of a rectangular shape elongated in one direction, the four legs 15 to 18 of the shield case 10 are inserted into the through holes 2 to 5 and then soldered to the rear surface of the circuit board 1. The two legs 16 and 18 located on a diagonal line are provided with engaging claws directed in opposite directions, and the shield case 10 is engaged with the circuit board 1.
