OIL-EXTENDED WHITE CLAY-CONTAINING RUBBER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition improved in processing characteristics in rubber milling process and to provide a rubber composition which reinforces rubber characteristics without involving the degradation of vulcanization rate and physical properties of vulcanizate caused by the above rubber milling process. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains 100 pts.wt. diene rubber or 100 pts.wt. mixture of different optional diene rubbers and 5-200 pts.wt. oil-extended white clay as an essential component. The rubber composition may further contain 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. thiuram-based vulcanization accelerator represented by tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide (TBZT). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
