PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lead-acid battery with a handle, wherein poor molding of a handle locking piece 22 can be prevented by supporting a handle belt body 21 with the support 4a of a lower die 4 when integrally molding the handle locking piece 22 in the handle belt body 21 of the handle 2. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the lead-acid battery equipped with the handle 2 mounted to a handle mounting part 12 formed in this lead-acid battery 1 by locking the engagement part 22a of the handle locking piece 22 integrally molded at the end part of the handle belt body 21 made of a braided cloth, with the end part of the handle belt body 21 held between an upper die 3 and a lower die 4, and with the handle band body 21 supported by the tips of three supports 4a protruded from the inner surface of the lower die 4, a resin is filled between these molding dies 3, 4 to integrally mold the handle locking piece 22 in the handle belt body 21.
