PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pool a large amount of water in a sink to drop it to a crushing chamber and a discharge chamber at a breath so as to wash the crushing chamber, in particular, a discharge pipe. SOLUTION: A disposer attached to a sink outlet of the sink 1 is provided with a cap switch mechanism starting in an operation mode selected by rotating a switch cap 13 loaded on a charging mouth 14 at a certain angle. On the switch cap 13, a water passage hole 15 and a knob member 16 provided projectingly on the upper surface to turn the switch cap 13 are provided. The disposer is provided with a blind cap 20 detachable and forming an engaging part 21 which covers the water passage hole 15 of the switch cap 13 and engages with the knob member 16 to turn the switch cap 13. In a state in which the switch cap 13 is inserted into the charging mouth 14 and is not turned, the blind cap 20 is loaded and water is pooled in the sink 1. After water is pooled, the blind cap 20 is turned together with the switch cap 13 in the engaging part 21 to start a motor and is lifted to drop water from the water passage hole 15 to the crushing chamber.
