A half bridge driver is provided to match push/pull control chips by using drivers in a conventional half bridge to actuate a switching operation of a half bridge switch assembly. A half bridge driver(30) includes a first optical coupling switch(U1), a first NPN transformer(Q3), a first PNP transformer(Q4), a first resistor(R1), and a first capacitor(C1). The first optical coupling switch is used to receive a first control signal(a). The first NPN transformer includes a collector connected to a first terminal of the first optical coupling switch and a based connected to a second terminal of the first optical coupling switch. The first PNP transformer includes a base and an emitter connected to the base and an emitter of the first NPN transformer, and a collector connected to a primary side of a transformer(Tx). The first resistor is connected between the base and the collector of the first PNP transformer. The first capacitor is connected between the collector of the first NPN transformer and the collector of the first PNP transformer. |
