PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip receiver for a hedge clipper designed so as to enable confirmation of the real posture of a blade part and also its horizontality to improve usability of the hedge clipper. SOLUTION: The chip receiver 11 for the hedge clipper is attached to the blade part 3 of the hedge clipper 1, wherein a fixed base 29 is set up at the front edge of a receiving part 13, and levels 30, 31 are set up on the fixed base 29. The levels comprise well-known foaming-type stick-like ones; the level 30 is installed sideways on the upper surface of the fixed base 29 to confirm the horizontal, and the level 31 is installed lengthwise to confirm the vertical.
