METHOD OF PRODUCING DISPOSABLE PANTS-TYPE DIAPER AND THE PANTS-TYPE DIAPER

A disposable pants-type diaper capable of preventing bodily wastes from being in contact with the wearer's body. The disposable pants-type diaper (1) has a separator (20a) placed between the inner surface of a pants-type skin-covering section(10) and the skin of the wearer and preventing bodily wastes from adhering to the skin. The separator (20a) is constructed from a sheet member extending from the bottom of a crotch region (6) of the diaper (1) toward a front waist region (7) and to a rear waist region (8) and fixed to both side edges of the crotch region (6). The sheet member has a front edge section (21) and rear edge section (22) extending in the lateral direction of the crotch region (6) and elastically extendible. At the center in the lateral direction of the crotch section (6), the front edge section (21) and rear edge section (22) are separated from the inner surface of the skin-covering section (10) and integrated together so as to be inseparable.
