<p>Lateral loading stacker, used for handling loads in, for example, warehouse shelving; characterised in that it has: (a) an upright (2) fitted to a carriage (1) with means for guided linear movement thereof (D<SUB>1</SUB>) in a horizontal plane; (b) a crossbar (3) fitted to said upright (2) with means for guided linear movement thereof (D<SUB>2</SUB>) in a vertical plane; and (c) an arm (4) provided with claws or other means of clamping/fastening the load to be handled; said arm (4) being fitted to said crossbar (3) with means (D<SUB>3</SUB>) for moving same laterally in a horizontal plane.</p> |
