PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker used in various acoustic equipments, and capable of obtaining large magnitude required for low-pitched sound zone reproduction, even if it is a smaller unit in particular. SOLUTION: The speaker comprises a configuration where a sub magnetic circuit 6 and a sub magnetic air gap 6c by the circuit are arranged and a magnetic fluid 7 is implanted and provided in the sub magnetic air gap 6c in order to support a voice coil 2. According to the configuration, the speaker has no damper, and its vibration system can operate as a self-centering one. Thereby, the non-linearity can be improved for vibration system components, and distortion reduction can be achieved while low-pass characteristics can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
