PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device for a ceiling direct-mounted luminaire which can be checked whether it is attached in a normal position by the color of locking claw of an adaptor body when the adaptor body is hooked on a ceiling rossette having various heights and fixed to a ceiling to mount a luminaire body on the adaptor body. SOLUTION: In the mounting device for a ceiling direct-mounted luminaire, a pair of locking claws having two stages detachably engaging with a luminaire body 9 are projectably provided in an adaptor body 1, a first stage member 2a and a second stage member 2b of the locking claw 2 having two stages provided in the adaptor body 1 are constructed by screws or the like to have different colors, and the locking stage part of the second stage member 2b has a width smaller than the locking stage part of the first stage member 2a, and thus visibility when locking to the first stage member 2a is improved.
