Disclosed is a filling shoe device for passing and dispensing powder into a cavity of a powder compaction apparatus for subsequent compacting of the powder, the filling shoe device comprising a filling shoe, the filling shoe comprises an inlet portion for receiving powder into said filling shoe, an o utlet portion forming a powder outlet flow channel having an outlet opening for dispensing powder out of said filling shoe into the cavity in said powde r compaction apparatus, a meshwork arranged in the powder flow channel acros s the outlet opening, and wherein the meshwork is non-movably arranged in th e outlet portion and wherein the outlet portion is non-movable relative to t he filling shoe device.
