<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing tar and/or gas oil while carrying out coking of coal in a coke oven in parallel with recycle treatment of mixed waste plastics containing chlorine-containing resins and/or chlorine-containing organic compounds collected as industrial waste and/or general waste and resins not containing chlorine. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal decomposition gas containing chlorine-containing gas is produced by charging the waste plastics after volume reduction solidification treatment without dechlorinating treatment for decreasing its chlorine content to not greater than 0.5 wt.% into a coke oven, the waste plastics being preliminary mixed with coal in the range of 0.05-2 wt.% to the coal, and dry-distilling the waste plastics together with the coal whose blending ratio of non- or slightly-caking coal to caking coal as blended for a raw material coal is adjusted in order to compensate the reduced portion of the coke strength caused by charging the waste plastics and so as to make a drum index (DI<SP>150</SP><SB>15</SB>) of a coke 84. The tar and/or the gas oil are obtained by bringing the thermal decomposition gas containing chlorine-containing gas into contact with ammonia water produced when in coking by dry-distilling an amount of coal for generating ammonia of 1.1-2 times mole amount of chlorine in the chlorine-containing gas and circulated in the coke oven, taking not less than 90% of chlorine in the thermal decomposition gas into the ammonia water as ammonium chloride, and separating the tar and/or gas oil from the ammonia water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
