PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of eliminating the slowdown of a speed for inputting/outputting a file in a storage side even when a plurality of files are simultaneously requested to be transferred. SOLUTION: A file transfer system 1 comprises: a server pool 3 having a single device name and composed of a plurality of servers 30 capable of storing and transferring the file of content, connected to an internal network 7, and having individual identification information; a server group 4 composed of a plurality of servers 40 capable of storing and transferring the file and having individual identification information; network devices 6 respectively having switching functions for connecting the servers 30 to the servers 40 in one-to-one correspondence; a terminal device 5 for inputting an indication to transfer the file between the server pool 3 and the server group 4; and a management device 2 for managing registration information, including information on the file stored in each server and identification information of the servers.
