In an information processing device, a specifying section (101) specifies specific apparatus and region. A generating section (102) specifies a repeater for communication with the region specified by the specifying section (101) and generates identification information by combination of information which specifies the repeater and information which specifies the apparatus. A transmitting section (103) transmits the identification information generated by the generating section (102) to a repeater point. The notifying section (104) notifies whether there is the apparatus within the region specified by the specifying section (101), based oninformation returned from the repeater.
