<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas/water supply system for a fuel cell that can be controlled while taking the influence of the volume of water kept in a water tank into consideration and is fully water self-sustainable. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises a reforming part 22 for supplying reformed gas to a fuel cell; a to-be-reformed gas supply means 13 for supplying to-be-reformed gas to the reforming part; an oxygen-containing gas supply means 13 for supplying oxygen-containing gas to the reforming part; a water tank 50 for storing water; a water supply means 14 for supplying water itself from the water tank or after converting into steam to the reforming part; a stored water volume sensor 51 for detecting the stored water volume in the water tank; and a control means 15 for controlling whether, based on a signal from the stored water volume sensor, switching between the oxygen-containing gas supply means and the water supply means is carried out, or both supply means are used in combination, so that reforming reaction with the to-be-reformed gas and oxygen-containing gas and water, or reforming reaction with the to-be-reformed gas and the oxygen-containing gas or water is carried out in the reforming part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
