PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system capable of suppressing occurrence of mutual interference between adjoining cells. SOLUTION: A base station 10 transmits pilot signal, and a mobile station 20a that has received it transmits the attenuation information of the pilot signal to the base station. The base station, based on the attenuation information of the pilot signal received from the mobile station, acquires the transmission power of the mobile station required for attaining a specified power at the base station, and executes a process for allocating time slots used for communication with the mobile station based on the required transmission power. Here, the base station allocates the time slot so that the start point or end point of a frame is approached as the required transmission power rises while a switching point is approached as the required transmission power decreases.
