PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for heating in which the generation of rust is prevented, and having a remarkably prolonged service life and an easily recyclable structure, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The plate 11 for heating is composed of: an iron base material 2; an iron-aluminum alloy layer 3 formed on the side of the surface 2a in the iron base material 2; an aluminum plated layer 4 formed on the side of the surface 3a in the iron-aluminum alloy layer 3; a thermal sprayed layer 5 formed on the surface 4a in the aluminum plated layer 4; a sealing-treated layer 6 formed on the surface 5a in the thermal sprayed layer 5; a primer layer 7 applied to the surface 6a in the sealing-treated layer; and a fluororesin layer 8 formed on the surface 7a in the primer layer 7.
