DATA DECODER, ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND DATA DECODING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the processing time required for decoding processing by enhancing parallelism of decoding processing of encoded compressed data.

SOLUTION: A data decoder 1 includes: a filter part 12 for separating compressed data into encoded DC components and encoded AC components on the basis of encoding table identifiers; a DC component decoding part 30 for decoding the separated encoded DC components on the basis of encoding tables corresponding to respective encoded DC components; and an AC component decoding part 40 for decoding the encoded AC components separated by the filter part 12 on the basis of encoding tables corresponding to respective encoded AC components independently of the DC decoding part 30. Image data for drawing is generated on the basis of decoded DC components and AC components.
