<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll collection/reception system for enabling a vehicle driven by a user who carries an ETC card to pass an exit toll gate as an ETC vehicle by a simple operation even when the vehicle passes an entrance toll gate as a non-ETC vehicle for any reason. <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle passing an entrance toll gate with a passage ticket arrives at a service area, the driver of the vehicle inserts the passage ticket and an ETC card into terminal equipment. Then, the entrance information read from the passage ticket is recorded in the ETC card, and when the vehicle leaves the service area, model information acquired from the ETC card is compared with model information acquired from an on-vehicle unit, and when the model information of the ETC card is smaller amounts of charge than the model information of the in-vehicle unit, the model information of the on-vehicle unit is recorded on the ETC card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
