<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polymerizable monomer having high transparency within a wide range of wavelengths, i.e. from vacuum ultraviolet rays to optical communication wave lengths while having a high content of fluorine, and also having adhesiveness to a substrate and excellent film-forming properties, and a polymeric compound using the same, and further an antireflection material and an optical device material coated with the polymeric compound. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a series of novel fluorine-containing acrylate derivatives as specific compounds having high content of fluorine and hydroxyl groups, and the polymeric compounds using the same.
