PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment and its security control program for simplifying a system for preventing the risk of information leakage due to loss or theft based on whether communication can be established with another communication equipment using a short-range communication means. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set 101 for repeatedly communicating with an accessory (not shown) equipped with a Bluetooth communication function as a slave is provided with an accessory information storage region 119 for always registering a Bluetooth address value of the accessory which is likely to exist in the periphery. Then, an IQ packet is broadcast from the Bluetooh communication part 117, and on receipt of an FHS packet, when any Bluetooth address value included therein does not include that registered in the accessory information storage region 119, information leakage from the portable telephone set 101 is prevented by limiting the predetermined function of the device.
