<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of electrostatic breakdown caused by static electricity after a cell cutting step. <P>SOLUTION: In the display device having a substrate, a plurality of pixels provided in a pixel part, a plurality of video lines applying video voltage to the plurality of pixels and a video voltage selection circuit selecting video voltage to be input and supplying the video voltage to a prescribed video line of the plurality of video lines, a static electricity protection circuit for pixel part protection is connected to a plurality of video voltage input lines inputting video voltage to the video voltage selection circuit and a static electricity protection circuit for peripheral circuit protection is connected to wiring lines other than the video voltage input lines connected to the video voltage selection circuit. The static electricity protection circuit for pixel part protection is connected between the plurality of video voltage input lines and the static electricity protection circuit for peripheral circuit protection is connected between at least one video voltage input line and at least one wiring line other than the video voltage input lines, between a plurality of wiring lines other than the video voltage input lines and between at least the one wiring line other than the video voltage input lines and a reference voltage wiring line to which reference voltage is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
