PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric motor excellent in productivity by simplifying resistance welding due to fusing of an engaging portion between a bus bar terminal and an end of a coil. SOLUTION: The electric motor is provided with a cylindrical insulator 14b for insulating a stator core from the coil, and bus bars 16-19 fixed on the insulator 14b and electrically connected to the coil. In the electric motor, bus bar terminals 16a-16c and 17a-19a having slit portions 106a-106c and 107a-109a each having an opening for engaging the end of the coil are integrally formed on the bus bars 16-19. The bus bar terminals 16a-16c and 17a-19a are disposed so that the opening directions of the slit portions 106a-106c and 107a-109a can follow the same arc (a). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
