PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact signal processing apparatus which processes a contact signal, responsive to opening/closing operation of an alarm contact which broadcasts an alarm, into a telephone line signal that is suitable as an operation for a private telephone to call a terminal. SOLUTION: A contact signal processing apparatus 1 comprises an alarm information receiving unit 11 for receiving alarm information detected by an alarm information detector 2; a receiving time measuring unit 12 for measuring the lapse of time, after the reception of the alarm information; a setting time storage unit 13 for storing a setting value thereof; an internal circuit 10; a contact signal processing unit 14 for processing the opening/closing operation of an alarm contact; and a contact signal transmitting unit 15 for transmitting a contact signal processed by the contact signal processing unit 14 to an analog extension circuit 7 of a private branch exchange 3, wherein the contact signal processing unit 14 processes duration of the opening/closing operation of the alarm contact 8 that is a period of time to broadcast an alarm, measured by the receiving time measuring unit 12 as a duration of the operation for the private telephone to call a PHS terminal 4 by controlling an internal circuit contact 17 of the internal circuit 10, on the basis of the setting value.
